What CYRM does
CYRM lets you create Google Calendar reminders by forwarding emails to hi@cyrm.to. We parse the email to extract a reminder and add it to your calendar. That's it.
What we collect
- ·Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, collected when you sign in.
- ·Google Calendar access tokens — stored securely to create, edit, and delete reminders in your calendar on your behalf.
- ·Parsed reminders — the structured event data we extract from your emails (title, date, description). We do not store your raw email content.
What we do not collect
We do not store the content of your emails. Your email is passed to our parser, a reminder is extracted, and the raw email text is discarded immediately. We have no access to your existing Google Calendar events — our integration is write-only for events we create.
How we use your data
- ·To create, update, and delete Google Calendar events as instructed by you.
- ·To send you confirmation and notification emails about your reminders.
- ·To keep your reminders accessible in your CYRM dashboard.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating the service.
Third-party services
- ·OpenAI — email content is sent to OpenAI's API to extract reminder details. OpenAI's data usage policies apply. We do not send your email address or account information.
- ·Google — we use Google OAuth for sign-in and the Google Calendar API to manage your events.
- ·AWS SES — used to receive inbound emails and send confirmation emails. Amazon's data policies apply.
Data retention
Your account and reminder data are retained for as long as you have an active CYRM account. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard, which permanently removes your account, all stored reminders, and optionally all calendar events created by CYRM.
